\ud83d\udd0d Search<\/span><\/h3>\n

Google is rolling out a type of landing page called <\/span>Search Profiles<\/span><\/a>. This will have advertisers\u2019 articles, videos, and social posts all in one place, with a profile that links directly back to their social media profiles and websites. These profiles will be on the home page of Google Discover. It’s worth noting that they are currently only available to users with sizeable followings on social media, with availability likely to expand to smaller accounts in time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd16AI<\/span><\/h3>\n

ChatGPT’s thinking mode <\/span>answers prompts differently,<\/span><\/a> which affects how many citations it generates per prompt and the types of citations it produces. Thinking mode cites 4-5 sources instead of 2-3 and avoids sources like Reddit more often. This means that lawyers have more chances of getting cited, but content on Reddit will be less valuable for this specific version of ChatGPT.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Google warns that websites can <\/span>expose AI agents to hidden traps<\/span><\/a>, raising a new threat as agentic AI begins navigating the open web. \ud83c\udf10Digital Advertising<\/span><\/h3>\n

Google is <\/span>testing AI summaries<\/span><\/a> with search ads. These summaries are generated by Google. They say these are meant to explain the ads and give potential customers more information to make an informed decision. Advertisers will not be able to control what goes in these summaries, but Google added a disclaimer that they are AI-generated and may be incorrect. They have stated that this is a small test to see how AI can be more fully integrated into search. We will be on the lookout for more information.<\/span><\/p>\n

ChatGPT is rolling out a new option to <\/span>upload audience lists<\/span><\/a> in the OpenAI ad platform. Having the audience lists directly on the platform will improve ad targeting for potential clients and ultimately increase reach.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcf1Social Media<\/span><\/h3>\n

LinkedIn has rolled out some <\/span>AI-powered promotional tools<\/span><\/a> for advertisers. These tools will enable advertisers to apply their brand colors to the ad platform. This means that your brand will have more visibility, ultimately making your company more recognizable.<\/span><\/p>\n

LinkedIn is <\/span>testing suggested feeds.<\/span><\/a> The update allows the platform to expand content users receive, functioning as a way to keep people engaged for longer. Recommended content for attorneys to post include: edutainment style posts (a blend of education and entertainment), thought leadership, behind-the-scenes glimpses, newsletters, and articles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
